Well, perhaps a few of these haibane can be recognized; it would seem a few of them got new wardrobes during the winter festival. Perhaps they play some version of basket-ball as well, trying to get snowballs through the halo "hoops."

Kuramori Departs (Theme)114 viewsArtist: A. Lee of Darn Tootin'. Medium: Ink. Commissioned by Gordok at Anime Expo 2011.

It took a while, but I got one "entry" for ClosetOtaku's challenge. [As said elsewhere, finding someone familiar with the story makes these commissions "tough", since a simple picture reference does not suffice.]

Hmmm . . . I wonder how Reki found the place, with no Old Home bell tower to keep her from getting lost in the forest. ;-)

Reki29A.jpg
Reki Bust Sketch96 viewsArtist: Tom Hodges (currently a Lucas Film artist). Medium: Ink and Markers on signboard. Commissioned by Gordok at Comic-con International 2011.

In art classes, teachers often have students draw something at the beginning of the term, then [students] draw the same thing at the end of the term, to show the students what learned. Hence, I figured it might be interesting to have Mr. Hodges "revisit"/redraw the character, eight years later. [His first version is also on this site.]
